The Victorian era was a period of extreme - from industrial reforms, the cultural, scientific progress, the good life and the grinding poverty and the war was over. The Victorian era lasted from 1837-1901, when Queen Victoria reigned, though many historians believe that the Reform Act of 1832, the introduction of the Victorian era.

The life of women in the Victorian era was centered in general obligation of the family. Women were seen as a temple of loveand purity, and therefore could not by physical exertion or pleasurable sex are used. The only role of women in Victorian times was to marry and take care of the housework. The girls had to marry had to be nice and innocent, virtuous, obedient and docile. all worked together to get the perfect candidate - young women were drawing especially achievements such as the French, painting, singing brought up, dance!
